The Avener is the stage name of French DJ and producer Tristan Casara, who comes from Nice and plays melodic deep house. He became known for his 2014 reworking of Phoebe Killdeer & The Short Straws’ “The Fade Out Line,” released as “Fade Out Lines.” His debut album, The Wanderings of the Avener, also featured “Castle in the Snow” and his version of Ane Brun’s “To Let Myself Go.”

In 2015, The Avener played Tomorrowland in Belgium and Les Vieilles Charrues in Brittany during the touring cycle for The Wanderings of the Avener. That run also included a headline concert at L’Olympia in Paris.
