The Backseat Lovers are an American indie-rock band formed in Provo, Utah, in 2018. Their debut album, When We Were Friends, introduced songs including “Kilby Girl,” “Pool House” and “Maple Syrup”; they followed it with Waiting to Spill. The 2023 Waiting to Spill World Tour took the band through North America and Europe and included a headline performance at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Their festival appearances have also included Lollapalooza in Chicago and Outside Lands in San Francisco.
