The Bluetones are an English indie-rock band formed in Hounslow in 1993. Their guitar-led Britpop sound reached a wide audience through the debut album Expecting to Fly and songs including “Slight Return,” “Bluetonic” and “Cut Some Rug”; later records include Return to the Last Chance Saloon. The band completed a farewell tour in 2011 before re-forming for a UK tour in 2015. They then marked the 20th anniversary of Expecting to Fly by performing the album in full on a 2016 tour that returned to London.
