About The Boppers
The Boppers are a Swedish rock-and-roll and doo-wop band formed in Stockholm in 1977. Their repertoire draws on 1950s vocal-group music and rockabilly, and they became known through albums including Number 1 and Keep On Boppin’, as well as the song “Kissing in the Moonlight.”
After their 1978 debut, The Boppers built an extensive live following on Sweden’s folk-park circuit. Their concerts feature a full band and close vocal harmonies, a format they later carried beyond Scandinavia on tours of Japan.
