About The Brian Setzer Orchestra
The Brian Setzer Orchestra is an American big band founded in 1990 and led by Stray Cats singer and guitarist Brian Setzer. Its brass-heavy swing and rockabilly repertoire is represented by the album The Dirty Boogie, the Louis Prima song “Jump, Jive an’ Wail” and a big-band arrangement of “Rock This Town.”
The orchestra performed at Woodstock ’99 in Rome, New York. It later returned to the road for successive editions of the Christmas Rocks! tour, pairing its swing and rockabilly catalog with arrangements of seasonal songs.
The holiday production reached the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. Los Angeles performances were held at Microsoft Theater.
