Artist
The Courteeners are an English indie-rock band formed in Middleton in 2006. Led by singer and songwriter Liam Fray, they are known for their debut album, St. Jude, and songs including “Not Nineteen Forever,” “What Took You So Long?” and “Are You in Love with a Notion?” In 2015, The Courteeners headlined Heaton Park for the first time. They returned there in 2019 and again in 2023, when the set celebrated the fifteenth anniversary of St. Jude. The band has headlined Manchester Arena and performed at London’s Royal Albert Hall. Its festival history also includes appearances at Reading Festival and Leeds Festival.
