The Cover Girls are an American female vocal group formed in New York City in 1986. They play freestyle and dance-pop, and are known for “Show Me,” “Because of You,” “We Can't Go Wrong” and their version of “Wishing on a Star.” The Cover Girls have appeared in the Freestyle Explosion concert series, which brings performers associated with 1980s and 1990s freestyle music to arena stages. Editions featuring the group have also included Stevie B, Lisa Lisa and Exposé.
