The Devil and the Almighty Blues is a Norwegian band formed in Oslo in 2010. It plays heavy, psychedelic blues rock shaped by doom tempos and extended guitar passages. The albums The Devil and the Almighty Blues, II and Tre include songs such as “Distance,” “Salt the Earth” and “Root to Root.” The band played Roadburn Festival in Tilburg after releasing its self-titled debut, performing songs from the record for an audience centered on heavy and experimental music. Tours supporting II and Tre then moved through European clubs and festivals, including Freak Valley Festival in Netphen.
