About The Hamburg Blues Band
The Hamburg Blues Band is a German blues-rock group formed in Hamburg in 1982 by singer and guitarist Gert Lange and guitarist Alex Conti. The band plays hard-edged electric blues and is known for its long-running work with British blues-rock vocalists including Maggie Bell and Chris Farlowe.
The Friends for a LIVEtime concert series brought guest singers and musicians into the group’s club and theatre shows. The band later marked its 40th anniversary on tour, again featuring Maggie Bell as a guest vocalist.
