About The Homeless Gospel Choir
The Homeless Gospel Choir is an American folk-punk project formed in Pittsburgh by songwriter Derek Zanetti in 2009. Zanetti’s political, personal writing and direct acoustic approach shaped albums including Normal and This Land Is Your Landfill, while “Untitled” became one of the project’s best-known songs.
The Homeless Gospel Choir appeared on the Vans Warped Tour during its years as a largely solo acoustic act. Zanetti later expanded the project into a full band, and that lineup supported My Chemical Romance on European dates in 2022.
