About The Taxpayers
The Taxpayers are an American folk-punk band formed in Portland, Oregon, in 2007. Their catalog includes the albums To Risk So Much for One Damn Meal and God, Forgive These Bastards, and they are best known for songs including “I Love You Like an Alcoholic” and “Medicines.”
The Taxpayers spent their original run touring DIY spaces, house venues and small clubs in the United States and Europe. Their live history also includes performances at The Fest in Gainesville.
