The Immediate Family Tickets & 2026–2027 Tour Dates

The Immediate Family is an American rock band formed by session musicians Danny Kortchmar, Waddy Wachtel, Leland Sklar, Russ Kunkel and Steve Postell. Their collective recording history includes work with James Taylor, Carole King, Jackson Browne, Linda Ronstadt and Stevie Nicks. The band’s releases include the album The Immediate Family and Skin in the Game, while its repertoire revisits songs associated with the members’ studio careers, including “Somebody’s Baby” and “Dirty Laundry.”

The group grew out of a tour of Japan supporting Kortchmar’s solo album Honey Don’t Leave L.A., reuniting musicians who had worked together extensively during the 1970s. Subsequent US performances brought the five-piece to clubs and small theatres, including The Iridium in New York and The Vogel in Red Bank.
