Artist
The Irish Tenors are an Irish classical-crossover vocal trio formed in 1998. Their repertoire applies operatic tenor voices to traditional songs, sacred music and popular standards, including “Danny Boy,” “When Irish Eyes Are Smiling” and “Isle of Hope, Isle of Tears.” The trio’s early concert history was documented through televised performances: a PBS concert in Dublin was followed by Live in Belfast, recorded at the Waterfront Hall. A later concert special brought the singers to Ellis Island in New York Harbor.
