The Local Honeys in Atlanta

The Local Honeys are an American folk duo from Kentucky, formed by Linda Jean Stokley and Montana Hobbs. Their Appalachian country and old-time music is heard on albums including Little Girls Actin’ Like Men and The Local Honeys, as well as songs such as “Cigarette Trees” and “Dead Horses.” The duo have toured through the United States and Europe, performing in listening rooms, theatres and at folk festivals. Their travels have included an appearance at the Kennedy Center in Washington and a performance at the Newport Folk Festival.
