The Lowest Pair is an American folk duo formed in Olympia, Washington, in 2013 by Kendl Winter and Palmer T. Lee. Their music draws on old-time banjo playing, country and indie folk, carried by close vocal harmonies. The duo is known for the debut album 36¢ and the companion releases Fern Girl and Ice Man and Uncertain as It Is Uneven. The Lowest Pair have toured clubs, listening rooms and folk festivals as a two-person acoustic act. Winter and Lee trade lead vocals and banjo parts, sometimes adding guitar to the arrangements.
