The Mahones are a Canadian Celtic punk band formed in Kingston, Ontario, in 1990 by Dublin-born singer and guitarist Finny McConnell. They play punk shaped by Irish folk music, and their catalogue includes “Paint the Town Red,” the albums The Black Irish and Angels & Devils, and a recording featured in the film The Fighter. The Mahones have performed at Punk Rock Bowling in Las Vegas and at Rebellion Festival in Blackpool. Their concerts are full-band Celtic punk sets led by singer and guitarist Finny McConnell.
