About The New Orleans Suspects
The New Orleans Suspects are an American funk and roots-rock band formed in New Orleans in 2009. The founding lineup brought together musicians with backgrounds in The Radiators, the Neville Brothers and the Dirty Dozen Brass Band, including Reggie Scanlan, Willie Green and Jake Eckert. Their recorded work includes the albums Ouroboros and Kaleidoscoped.
Caught Live at the Maple Leaf documents the group performing at the Maple Leaf Bar. The same full-band format also appeared at Jazz Fest, where the repertoire drew on funk, roots rock and rhythm and blues.
