The New Raemon in Barcelona

The New Raemon is the solo project launched in Barcelona in 2008 by Spanish singer-songwriter Ramón Rodríguez, previously a member of Madee and Ghouls ’n’ Ghosts. His melodic indie rock and sharply observed lyrics are represented by records including A propósito de Garfunkel, La dimensión desconocida and Oh, rompehielos. After A propósito de Garfunkel, The New Raemon took the record to clubs and festivals around Spain. The collaborative album El problema de los tres cuerpos also led to concerts with Francisco Nixon and Ricardo Vicente, and his festival appearances have included Primavera Sound.
