Artists
The Number Twelve Looks Like You is an American mathcore band formed in Bergen County, New Jersey, in 2002. Its music combines abrupt rhythmic shifts, hardcore intensity and contrasting vocal styles. The band is known for the albums Put On Your Rosy Red Glasses, Nuclear. Sad. Nuclear., Mongrel, Worse Than Alone and Wild Gods. During the 2000s, the group built its live history through extensive club touring before ending its first run in 2010. The musicians reunited in 2016 and returned to the stage; the following year, they performed at one of The Dillinger Escape Plan’s farewell concerts at Terminal 5 in New York.
Kaonashi is an American hardcore band formed in Philadelphia in 2012. Their music draws on mathcore, post-hardcore and screamo, while their lyrics follow recurring fictional characters and an interconnected narrative. The album Dear Lemon House, You Ruined Me: Senior Year includes songs such as “An Evening of Moving Pictures with Scooter Corkle” and “I Hate the Sound of Car Keys.” In 2021, Kaonashi joined Hail the Sun on the New Age Filth tour, which also featured Kurt Travis and Body Thief. The band later carried its full-band set to Furnace Fest in Birmingham.
