The Pine Hill Haints are an American band formed in Auburn, Alabama. They play country, bluegrass, old-time folk and punk under the self-description “Alabama ghost music.” Their catalogue includes the albums The Evening Star, Ghost Dance, To Win or to Lose and Welcome to the Midnight Opry.
The Pine Hill Haints have toured the United States and Europe, performing in clubs, DIY venues and roots festivals. Their concerts feature guitar, fiddle, washtub bass, washboard, accordion and musical saw. Jamie Barrier leads the ensemble on vocals and guitar.
