The Rascals in Morristown

The Rascals are an American rock and soul band formed in Garfield, New Jersey, in 1965. First billed as the Young Rascals, the group featured Felix Cavaliere, Eddie Brigati, Gene Cornish and Dino Danelli. Their best-known recordings include “Good Lovin’,” “Groovin’,” “A Beautiful Morning” and “People Got to Be Free.” The Young Rascals opened for the Beatles at Shea Stadium in New York in 1965. The four original members reunited in 2012 for the theatrical concert Once Upon a Dream at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester. In 2013, the production moved to Broadway’s Richard Rodgers Theatre before a North American tour.
