About The Raveonettes
The Raveonettes are a Danish rock duo formed in Copenhagen in 2001 by Sune Rose Wagner and Sharin Foo. They play noise pop and garage rock shaped by close vocal harmonies, distorted guitars and compact pop songwriting. Their best-known releases include Whip It On, Chain Gang of Love and Pretty in Black, and songs such as “Attack of the Ghost Riders,” “That Great Love Sound” and “Love in a Trashcan.”
At SPOT Festival in Aarhus in 2002, their set caught the attention of Rolling Stone editor David Fricke; an appearance at the CMJ Music Marathon in New York followed later that year. They later performed at Coachella and played Denmark’s Roskilde Festival.
