The Revivalists in Chicago

The Revivalists are an American rock band formed in New Orleans in 2007 by singer David Shaw and guitarist Zack Feinberg. Their alternative rock draws on soul and funk, and they are known for “Wish I Knew You,” “All My Friends” and the albums Men Amongst Mountains and Take Good Care. In 2019, the band opened for The Rolling Stones on the No Filter Tour in Jacksonville and later headlined Red Rocks Amphitheatre. In 2023, The Revivalists co-headlined a North American summer tour with The Head and the Heart.

Robert Randolph & The Family Band is an American funk, rock and soul group led by pedal-steel guitarist Robert Randolph. Rooted in the African American sacred-steel gospel tradition, the band became known through the concert album Live at the Wetlands, the studio album Unclassified and songs including “Going in the Right Direction” and “Ain’t Nothing Wrong with That.” Live at the Wetlands documented an early performance at New York’s Wetlands Preserve and established the concert setting as a central part of the band’s recorded work. Robert Randolph & The Family Band later toured with Eric Clapton and Dave Matthews Band, then brought Randolph’s pedal steel and a full rhythm section to festivals including Bonnaroo and Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival.
