About The Sandmen
The Sandmen are a Danish rock band formed in Copenhagen in 1985. Their music draws on garage rock and classic guitar-driven rock, and their catalogue includes the albums Den Bedste Dag, Western Blood and Sleepyhead, as well as songs such as “House in the Country” and “5 Minutes Past Loneliness.”
The band reunited in 2006 after an extended break and returned to live performance around the release of In the House of Secrets. That return included a performance at Roskilde Festival.
