About The Seekers
The Seekers are an Australian folk-pop group formed in Melbourne in 1962. The classic lineup brought together Judith Durham, Athol Guy, Keith Potger and Bruce Woodley. Their best-known recordings include “I’ll Never Find Another You,” “A World of Our Own,” “The Carnival Is Over” and “Georgy Girl.”
The group performed the Music for the People concert at Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl in 1967 before separating the following year. The four members reunited for concert tours in 1993, and their later live work included the Golden Jubilee Tour, which visited Australia in 2013 and the United Kingdom in 2014.
