The Slow Show in Manchester

The Slow Show are a British indie-rock band formed in Manchester in 2010. They are known for Rob Goodwin’s low baritone and spacious, orchestral arrangements on albums including White Water, Dream Darling, Lust and Learn and Still Life; “Dresden” is among their signature songs. The Slow Show toured the UK and continental Europe around their early albums, playing clubs and theatres. A later London concert featured orchestral players and a choir; it was released as Live at the Royal Albert Hall, documenting the expanded ensemble around vocalist Rob Goodwin.
