Artist
The Soup Dragons are a Scottish alternative rock band formed in Bellshill in 1985. Their early records drew on guitar-led indie pop, while the albums Lovegod and Hotwired moved toward dance rhythms and electronic production. They are best known for their version of the Rolling Stones’ “I’m Free” and the single “Divine Thing.” The Soup Dragons toured through the late 1980s and early 1990s before separating in 1995. The original lineup reunited in 2022, then returned to concert stages in 2023 for its first tour together in more than three decades, including a home-country performance in Glasgow.
