The Urge is an American band formed in St. Louis in 1987. Its horn-led ska punk draws on funk, reggae, hardcore and alternative rock; key recordings include “All Washed Up,” “Brainless” and “Jump Right In,” which features 311 vocalist Nick Hexum, as well as the albums Receiving the Gift of Flavor and Master of Styles. The Urge played the Warped Tour during its 1990s run and also toured with 311. After reuniting in 2011, the band established a series of Thanksgiving concerts at The Pageant.
Radkey is an American punk-rock trio formed in St. Joseph, Missouri, in 2010 by brothers Dee, Isaiah and Solomon Radke. The band is known for the songs “Cat & Mouse” and “Dark Black Makeup,” the album Dark Black Makeup and its later record Green Room. Radkey played Download Festival in 2013 and appeared at Coachella in 2016, establishing a live history that extends well beyond its Missouri beginnings. In 2021, the trio opened a series of US shows for Foo Fighters. The group performs as a three-piece: Dee Radke handles guitar and lead vocals, Isaiah Radke plays bass, and the drum kit belongs to Solomon Radke.
