About The Wildhearts
The Wildhearts are a British rock band formed in Newcastle upon Tyne in 1989 by singer and guitarist Ginger Wildheart. Their music draws on hard rock, punk and power pop, and their best-known records include Earth vs the Wildhearts and P.H.U.Q., home to songs such as “Caffeine Bomb” and “I Wanna Go Where the People Go.”
The Wildhearts played Monsters of Rock at Donington Park in 1994, then supported The Rolling Stones at Wembley Stadium the following year. After periods apart and several reunions, the band established recurring Christmas tours around the UK.
Their festival history also includes appearances at Reading Festival and Download Festival.
