The World Is A Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid To Die is an American emo and post-rock band formed in Willimantic, Connecticut, in 2009. The group is known for the albums Whenever, If Ever, Harmlessness and Always Foreign, as well as songs including “Heartbeat in the Brain,” “Getting Sodas” and “January 10th, 2014.”
In 2016, the band co-headlined a North American tour with mewithoutYou; Rozwell Kid opened the shows. In 2023, they returned to their debut for the Whenever, If Ever 10th Anniversary Tour and performed the album in full.
