Thomas Anders is a German pop singer, born in 1963, who is best known as the lead vocalist of Modern Talking. His voice fronts the duo’s hits “You’re My Heart, You’re My Soul,” “Cheri, Cheri Lady” and “Brother Louie,” while his solo catalogue includes the album Strong. Modern Talking returned to concert stages after Anders and Dieter Bohlen reunited the duo in 1998, and that second period lasted until 2003. Anders later carried the group’s songs into his solo concerts, performing with the Modern Talking Band and appearing at the Discoteka 80s festival in Moscow.
