Threshold in Aschaffenburg

Threshold are a British progressive-metal band formed in Surrey in 1988. Their music combines heavy guitar riffs, keyboards and long-form songwriting, and their catalogue includes the albums Hypothetical, Critical Mass, Subsurface and Legends of the Shires. The 2003 concert film Critical Energy documented Threshold performing at De Boerderij in Zoetermeer during the Critical Mass era. The live album European Journey was assembled from concerts on their 2014 tour supporting For the Journey, followed by touring for Legends of the Shires and a return to European venues in 2023 on the Dividing Lines tour.
