About Tim Foust

Tim Foust is an American bass singer and songwriter, born in Lubbock, Texas, and best known as a member of the country a cappella group Home Free. The group won the fourth season of NBC’s The Sing-Off after he joined its lineup in 2012. His recordings include the solo country album The Best That I Could Do and Home Free’s versions of “Ring of Fire” and “Man of Constant Sorrow.”

Tim Foust toured with the vocal group Ball in the House before joining Home Free. He later performed on the Crazy Life Tour and the Dive Bar Saints World Tour, as the group moved into theatres and concert halls beyond its television audience. In 2015, he appeared with Home Free for the group’s debut at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville.
