Tom Gaebel is a German jazz singer and bandleader, born in Gelsenkirchen in 1975. His baritone voice and big-band repertoire earned him the nickname “Dr. Swing,” while albums including Introducing: Myself, Don’t Wanna Dance and So Good to Be Me established his mix of vocal jazz, swing and traditional pop. Tom Gaebel has toured German theatres and concert halls fronting his own big band. His repertoire combines original songs with standards associated with the American songbook, and his recurring seasonal concerts are presented under the title A Swinging Christmas.
