Trey Hensley in Portland

Trey Hensley is an American guitarist and singer from East Tennessee who plays bluegrass, country and Americana. Known for his flatpicked acoustic guitar work, he has built a recording partnership with dobro player Rob Ickes on albums including Before the Sun Goes Down, The Country Blues and World Full of Blues. At age 11, he performed at the Grand Ole Opry after an invitation from Marty Stuart and Earl Scruggs. His later live work has centered on acoustic duo performances with Rob Ickes, including appearances at MerleFest.
