About Trudy Lynn
Trudy Lynn is an American electric-blues and soul-blues singer from Houston, born in 1947. Her recording career began with Trudy Sings the Blues, followed by albums including Royal Oaks Blues Cafe and I'll Sing the Blues for You.
Trudy Lynn spent her early career singing in Houston clubs, working with guitarist Albert Collins and later with bandleader Clarence Green. She subsequently brought her soul-blues repertoire to stages outside the United States, including the Lucerne Blues Festival in Switzerland.
