Artists
Two Door Cinema Club are a Northern Irish indie-rock band formed in Bangor, County Down, in 2007. Alex Trimble, Sam Halliday and Kevin Baird built their sound around clipped guitars, synthesizers and dance rhythms. Their debut album, Tourist History, introduced songs including “What You Know,” “Something Good Can Work” and “Undercover Martyn”; later albums include Beacon, Gameshow and False Alarm. In 2013, the band played Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage and ended the year with a headline show at London’s O2 Arena. They returned to major UK venues after Gameshow and headlined Alexandra Palace in 2017. Two Door Cinema Club perform as a full band, with Trimble on vocals and guitar, Halliday on guitar and Baird on bass, joined by touring musicians for drums and keyboards. They have played Reading and Leeds Festivals on several tours and have also performed at Coachella in California.
STRFKR is an American indie-pop and electronic band formed in Portland, Oregon, in 2007 by songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Josh Hodges. Initially billed as Starfucker, the group became known through songs including “Rawnald Gregory Erickson the Second” and “Golden Light,” as well as the albums Reptilians and Miracle Mile. In 2018, STRFKR marked the tenth anniversary of its self-titled debut with concerts built around a complete performance of the album. The later concert release Live From Brooklyn Steel documented the band’s full live setup at Brooklyn Steel.
