About Tyler Ramsey
Tyler Ramsey is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist who grew up in Cincinnati and later settled near Asheville, North Carolina. He plays folk and Americana built around fingerpicked guitar, and was a member of Band of Horses from 2007 to 2017. His solo catalogue includes A Long Dream About Swimming Across the Sea, The Valley Wind, For the Morning and New Lost Ages.
After joining Band of Horses, he spent a decade touring with the group, including shows supporting Pearl Jam in 2010 and performances at Bonnaroo and Glastonbury. His solo concerts place his voice and fingerstyle guitar at the center, either alone or backed by a band, and in 2019 he toured the United States with Carl Broemel.
