Tyler Ramsey is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist who grew up in Cincinnati and later settled near Asheville, North Carolina. He plays folk and Americana built around fingerpicked guitar, and was a member of Band of Horses from 2007 to 2017. His solo catalogue includes A Long Dream About Swimming Across the Sea, The Valley Wind, For the Morning and New Lost Ages.
After joining Band of Horses, he spent a decade touring with the group, including shows supporting Pearl Jam in 2010 and performances at Bonnaroo and Glastonbury.
