The Wood Brothers in Woodstock

The Wood Brothers are an American roots trio formed in 2004 by brothers Oliver Wood and Chris Wood. Their music draws on folk, blues, gospel, country and jazz, and their best-known records include Ways Not to Lose and The Muse, home to songs such as “Luckiest Man,” “Atlas” and “I Got Loaded.” In August 2016, the trio performed at Levon Helm Studios in Woodstock, New York, and the concert was released as Live at the Barn. The following summer they joined Tedeschi Trucks Band and Hot Tuna on the Wheels of Soul Tour, taking the group’s repertoire to outdoor amphitheatres around the United States. Their concerts use a three-piece format: Oliver Wood plays guitar and sings lead, Chris Wood handles upright and electric bass and vocals, and Jano Rix plays drums, keyboards and shuitar.

Tyler Ramsey is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist who grew up in Cincinnati and later settled near Asheville, North Carolina. He plays folk and Americana built around fingerpicked guitar, and was a member of Band of Horses from 2007 to 2017. His solo catalogue includes A Long Dream About Swimming Across the Sea, The Valley Wind, For the Morning and New Lost Ages. After joining Band of Horses, he spent a decade touring with the group, including shows supporting Pearl Jam in 2010 and performances at Bonnaroo and Glastonbury. His solo concerts place his voice and fingerstyle guitar at the center, either alone or backed by a band, and in 2019 he toured the United States with Carl Broemel.
