umeda cypher in Chiyoda City

Umeda Cypher is a Japanese hip-hop collective that began in 2007 through freestyle sessions around the pedestrian bridge in Osaka’s Umeda district. Its rotating group of rappers and producers includes R-Shitei, KZ, KBD, KOPERU, peko and KennyDoes. The collective is known for “Umeda Night Fever ’19” and the albums Travolta Custom and RAPNAVIO. Umeda Cypher built its live identity through the open-air sessions in Umeda before taking its multi-MC performances to clubs, festivals and concert halls across Japan. After nationwide touring, the collective staged a headline concert at Nippon Budokan in 2025.
