About Vargas & Lagola
Vargas & Lagola are a Swedish alternative-pop duo formed by songwriters and producers Salem Al Fakir and Vincent Pontare. Their own catalogue includes “Roads,” “Selfish” and the albums The Butterfly Effect and Mount Alda, while their songwriting credits include Avicii’s “Without You” and Axwell Λ Ingrosso’s “More Than You Know.”
In 2019, they performed at the Avicii Tribute Concert at Friends Arena in Stockholm. Vargas & Lagola played “Friend of Mine,” which they co-wrote with Avicii, on a program that also featured Aloe Blacc and Sandro Cavazza.
