Venna in Los Angeles

Venna is a British saxophonist and producer from South London whose instrumental music draws on jazz and hip-hop. His catalogue includes the project VENOLOGY and the album EQUINOX, while his session work includes Burna Boy’s Grammy-winning album Twice as Tall. Venna performed at Montreux Jazz Festival before bringing music from EQUINOX to NPR Music’s Tiny Desk. He led a full band for that concert, placing his saxophone at the centre of arrangements shaped by drums, bass and keyboards. He has also taken the band to Glastonbury Festival.
