Veronic DiCaire in Rimouski

Veronic DiCaire is a Canadian singer and vocal impressionist born in Embrun, Ontario, in 1976. She performs French-language pop, and her recordings include the albums Véronic DiCaire and Sans détour. She is known especially for stage productions built around precise impressions of popular singers. In 2008, she opened for Céline Dion during the Montreal dates of the Taking Chances World Tour at the Bell Centre, then developed her first solo impression show. She took the production to France, including L'Olympia in Paris, and Véronic Voices opened at Bally's Las Vegas in 2013. Her theatre show combines singing, comic transitions and choreography as she moves between her own voice and vocal impressions. Its repertoire has included portrayals of Madonna, Lady Gaga and Adele.
