Vicente Amigo in Barcelona

Vicente Amigo is a Spanish flamenco guitarist and composer, born in Guadalcanal in 1967 and raised in Córdoba. He developed his craft under Manolo Sanlúcar before establishing a solo career through albums including De mi corazón al aire, Vivencias imaginadas, Ciudad de las Ideas and Tierra. Vicente Amigo accompanied flamenco singer El Pele early in his career and later performed at the Guitar Legends concerts in Seville in 1991. His subsequent concert work has centred on his own compositions for flamenco guitar and ensemble, including an appearance at the Montreux Jazz Festival.
