Vicente Garcia is a Dominican singer-songwriter from Santo Domingo who plays bachata, merengue, reggae and other Caribbean music. Formerly the lead singer of Calor Urbano, he established a solo catalog through albums including Melodrama, A la Mar and Candela, and songs such as “Dulcito e Coco,” “Carmesí” and “Bachata en Kingston.” Vicente Garcia opened for Juan Luis Guerra during the A Son de Guerra tour. He later mounted the A la Mar Tour and the Candela Tour, building those concerts around the albums A la Mar and Candela.
