Visible Cloaks in Barcelona

Visible Cloaks are an American electronic duo formed by Spencer Doran and Ryan Carlile in Portland, Oregon. They make ambient and experimental electronic music shaped by digital synthesis and Japanese environmental music. Their best-known releases include Reassemblage and Lex, while Serenitatem was recorded with Yoshio Ojima and Satsuki Shibano. Visible Cloaks developed an audiovisual concert program with digital artist Brenna Murphy, whose real-time computer-generated environments accompany the duo’s electronic performance. They have presented the collaboration at festivals including Sónar in Barcelona and Rewire in The Hague.
