Vonda Shepard in Aberdeen

Vonda Shepard is an American singer-songwriter, pianist and guitarist, born in 1963, whose pop-rock and soul repertoire became closely associated with the television series Ally McBeal. She appeared as the singer in the bar frequented by the show’s characters and performed much of its music, including the theme “Searchin’ My Soul.” Her catalog also includes the albums It’s Good Eve and Songs from Ally McBeal. The 2005 release Live: A Retrospective documented her concert repertoire after the series. A later concert album, From the Sun Tour: Live in San Javier, preserved a performance from that tour.
