Wale is an American rapper from Washington, D.C., known for pairing intricate wordplay with the rhythms and musical identity of the city’s go-go scene. His catalog includes the mixtape The Mixtape About Nothing, the albums Ambition and The Album About Nothing, and songs such as “Lotus Flower Bomb,” “Bad” and “On Chill.” Wale toured clubs and theatres across North America on the Ambition Tour after the album’s release in 2011. He followed that run with the Simply Nothing Tour in 2015, built around material from The Album About Nothing. In 2022, he headlined the Under a Blue Moon Tour.
