Walter Beasley in Alexandria

Walter Beasley is an American saxophonist, vocalist, composer and educator, born in 1961 in El Centro, California. A longtime member of the Berklee College of Music faculty, he is known for contemporary and smooth jazz recordings including the albums Just Kickin’ It, For Your Pleasure and Tonight We Love. Walter Beasley has performed for decades as a bandleader, playing saxophone and adding vocals in jazz clubs, theatres and festival settings. His US appearances have included Scullers Jazz Club in Boston and the Birchmere in Alexandria, two venues closely associated with touring jazz and R&B artists.
