Anna Lapwood in Cologne

Anna Lapwood is a British organist and conductor, born in 1995, who serves as Director of Music at Pembroke College, Cambridge. Her work encompasses classical organ repertoire, contemporary compositions and film-music arrangements; her recordings include Images and Luna. At the Royal Albert Hall in 2022, she joined Bonobo for “Otomo,” and footage of the performance circulated widely online. She later presented her own recital at the venue, while subsequent concert work included Walt Disney Concert Hall. Her solo programmes combine established organ works, new music and her arrangements for the instrument. The BBC Proms have featured her as an organ soloist in London. She has also taken an organ set to Glastonbury Festival.
